BAAB and BAcC Unite

After more than 30 years of close collaboration, BAAB is pleased to announce that it has formally become an integrated function of the BAcC. This long-anticipated merger was completed and celebrated at the BAAB Board meeting on Monday 24 November 2025.

Over the past 35 years, BAAB has played a pivotal role in shaping the profession. It was through BAAB’s work that the five organisations which went on to form the BAcC were able to unite 30 years ago and speak with a single, coherent voice. Many practitioners owe their high educational standards to BAAB’s rigorous approach, which is widely recognised and respected as the gold standard across Europe.

As we move forward, BAAB will retain its independence in decision-making and accreditation, a principle that remains fundamental to the strong reputation held by both BAAB and the BAcC. This integration marks an exciting new chapter, creating expanded opportunities for education and supporting future generations of practitioners, while continuing to grow and develop the profession as a whole.
